One year ago, on Oct 2nd, a fifteen-man Saudi hit team intercepted journalist/dissident Jamal Kashoggi at the Saudi Consulate in Istanbul. He’d gone there to obtain documents to marry his Turkish fiancé, and settle into their new apartment.
But it was a trap. The death squad suffocated then dismembered him. His remains are thought to have been incinerated in an oven meant for cooking goats.
According to a 2018 report in The Intercept, Jared Kushner had been leaking classified intelligence to Mohamed bin Salman from the President Trump’s Daily Brief, which included identities of Saudi dissidents.
I couldn’t help wondering whether the murdered Saudi journalist, Jamal Khashoggi, was on that list.

The Crown Prince denied ordering the murder despite the CIA determination concluding that he did.
Crown Prince Mohamed bin Salman admitted to “60 Minutes” that the murder happened on his watch and that he takes full responsibility. He emphasised, however, that he had no prior knowledge of the murder plot. In other words he is liable morally, but not criminally.
